This quaint restaurant is modeled on the famous highway restaurants of North India, the favourite stop for truckers. The food is wholesome and cooked as per traditional recipes. Curries, lentils and vegetables are slow cooked and vary every day. The 'Tandoor' turns out the popular kebabs and tandoori breads.
Jade Garden
This restaurant serves Far Eastern cuisine, specializing in Thai and the foods from the Schezuan province of China. The ambiance is relaxing with a backdrop of bamboo groves.
Viceroy Bar

Golf
¤ The Air Force Golf Club, within 5 minutes drive, is set in Delhi's Race Course, next to the Polo Grounds and the Flying Club. Unfortunately, Foreigners are not permitted as is a working Air Force station.
¤ The Delhi Golf Club, also within a short 5 minute drive, has a most picturesque setting and is dotted with small historical monuments. The course is tight enough to challenge most golfers, but the caddies are good at retrieving the balls from the underbrush. Green fees are Rs…on weekdays and Rs…on weekends. Foreigners are charged Rs…and Rs… respectively.

¤ Lodi Gardens is a favourite place to walk/ jog around the Lodi Tombs. It is within walking distance of the hotel.

¤ National Museum. Splendidly displayed collection from pre-historic times to modern day. The permanent collection of jewelry is a must see as is the manuscript gallery.
¤ National Gallery of Modern Art. The collection spans work from the turn of the century. The museum shop has a good selection of prints.
¤ National Crafts Museum has working craftsmen and a good shop. Conceived as a collection of villages, the museum showcases the vast variety of Indian handicrafts.
¤ Rail Museum. This has a collection of old locomotives and carriages, many that once belonged to Maharajas. The oldest working steam locomotive in the world - The Fairy Queen - is on display when it is not on runs to the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary. An interesting exhibit is a working monorail. The museum shop has good buys.

¤ Boating. This is in small rowboats, next to the National Zoo and in the shadow of the old fort - the Purana Qila.
¤ National Zoo. This has a good range of Indian Fauna including the white tiger.
¤ Appu Ghar an amusement park

¤ At the Red Fort. This covers the history of Delhi from early Mughal times - 17.. till independence in 1947. Timings for the English show are 8pm in Summer (April to September) and 7pm in winter (October to March)
