Bikaner House, as other heritage hotels in the region, was the summer residence of the royal family of Bikaner. Bikaner House was built in the year 1893 during the reign of Maharaja Ganga Singh Ji and was designed by the legendary architect Sir Swinton Jacob. Converted as a Heritage Hotel in 1962 by Maharaja Karni Singhji, Palace Hotel is one of the largest and best-located hotels in Mount Abu.
